Dr Terry Finney enjoys all aspects of General Practice and strives to work together with his patients to achieve the best care and health across lifespans from early childhood to the elderly, he has been working on the Sunshine Coast for the last 14 years.
He completed his medical degree in with Honours at the Free University of Amsterdam in 2000. Following completion of his medical degree he worked as Medical Officer at regional general Emergency Department hospital in Hoorn in The Netherlands, before commencing his general practitioner’s training in 2002. He completed his General Practice training in 2005 in Amsterdam, being involved in registrar education and as member of the assessment committee for applicants into the formal training.
Relocated to the sunshine coast with his family in 2007 and since has been working in private Family Practice on the Sunshine Coast and gaining his fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2010. He is actively involved in education and assessor as a registered supervisor and evaluator for GP’s in training with the James Cook University in Queensland.

Dr David Taylor graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005. He was employed at Redcliffe Hospital before undertaking training through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
His training included working in various rural areas. David is currently a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and works in Beerwah, Queensland. He also works assisting the elderly at an aged care facility.

Dr Torres has extensive experience in women's health, both clinically and academically in 3 different countries: USA, Brazil and Australia. She was a Post Doc Fellow at the famous Mayo Clinic hospital where she performed outstanding research in gynaecological oncology and earned a Master’s degree in biomedical science and clinical and Translational Science. She finished her post graduate diploma in gynaecology in Brazil and she also performed a PhD in oncology focusing on cervical cancer. She arrived in Australia 5 years ago in which she has worked in leading hospitals such as Western Health in Melbourne, Gold Coast University Hospital and recently at the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital and is finishing her RANZCOG advanced diploma. Dr Torres is passionate about women’s health and joined MyLocalDoc to take care of women that need individualized care.

Antony grew up in Maleny and, ever since departing for medical school, has wanted to return to be a local doctor in the community.
He studied Biotechnology Innovation at QUT and then went on to medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2017 with an MD. As a student, he completed his research project in motor Neuron disease and spent time in a UK neurology department and in far West Queensland with the RFDS.
Antony has always known he wanted to specialise in General Practice as he enjoys person-centred care throughout all stages of life and treating a variety of conditions. Special interests include neurology, dermatology, and endocrinology.
In his free time, Antony enjoys walking, playing guitar, board games, and collecting LEGO.

Dr Zoe Sumra completed her medical and fellowship training in the UK before moving to Australia with her husband in 2017. She has undertaken a number of roles throughout her hospital- and community-based work, including General Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
During her work as a GP, Dr Sumra has developed a particular interest in Sexual & Reproductive Health, although she enjoys looking after a wide variety of medical conditions. She is passionate about general practice and is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care.
Dr Sumra is able to provide additional procedural services to her patients, including Iron infusions, Implanon removals & insertions, Mirena/Copper IUD removals & insertions, and services for unplanned pregnancies.

Dr. Sarvan Sumra is a General Practitioner who completed his training in the UK, graduating from the University of Exeter in 2010. In 2017, he relocated to Southeast Queensland with his wife and has been enjoying the sunny climate ever since.
Dr. Sav covers all areas of medicine but has a particular focus on Diabetes, as well as Occupational Medicine (Environmental and Workplace Medicine & Health). To deepen his expertise in these fields, he earned a Certificate in Diabetes Care from the University of Warwick in 2016 and a Certificate in Occupational and Environmental Health from Monash University in 2022.
Additionally, in 2022, Dr. Sav was chosen by the Respiratory Team at Caboolture Hospital to help manage complex patients with Chronic Lung Conditions in the Outpatient Respiratory Department. This experience was both informative and rewarding, enhancing his proficiency in managing chronic diseases such as Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and Bronchiectasis.
Dr. Sav also has extensive experience working with children, infants, and newborns in both hospital settings (the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit [NICU] & the Special Care Babies Unit [SCBU]), as well as in community roles.
Outside of his medical career, he enjoys playing the piano and guitar, and he loves mountain biking and hiking with his wife and daughter.

Dr Martine Hatfield is a dedicated and compassionate GP with extensive experience in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. She completed her GP training in North Brisbane and holds a Diploma in Child Health, reflecting her strong interest in paediatrics, women’s health, and diabetes management.
Dr Hatfield takes a patient-centred approach, ensuring her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healthcare journey. She is passionate about preventative health and building long-term relationships with her patients and the community.
Outside of work, Dr Hatfield enjoys gardening, cooking, and going for walks with her family.

Dr Dexter Rubio graduated from James Cook University in 2018 has moved down to the Brisbane region soon after. Prior to moving to Australia from Canada, Dr. Rubio had obtained his Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Working as an Occupational Therapist, he developed holistic health and patient centred care to address and help with his patient’s health needs.
Subsequently, Dr Rubio has worked across multiple sites in Queensland as an Emergency Medicine Registrar starting his internship and training at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital where he developed a strong interest in acute and critical care. In addition to his General Practice interest, Dr. Rubio also spends regular time at The Prince Charles Children's Emergency Department where his interest extends to Paediactric Acute Care Medicine.

Dr Noreen Alqueza completed her postgraduate Doctor of Medicine and undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Sciences in the Philippines. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Masters in Public Health in Queensland. Dr Noreen is on a pathway to obtain fellowship through the RACGP.
Over the past 20 years, she has practiced medicine in the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia. Initially employed by Queensland Mater Hospital, she has worked at Monash Health in Melbourne, Hervey Bay & Maryborough Hospitals and Queensland Children's Hospital.
Throughout her career, Dr Alqueza has gained extensive experience in a wide range of medical settings, including urban, rural, and remote general practice. In addition to working in general practices in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, she has provided medical care in rural and remote Aboriginal communities in Gympie, Western Queensland, and the Far North. Currently, she and her family are happily settled in Brisbane.
